Fire Officer III Program (Deputy Chief / Assistant Chief)

Prerequisite:

  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800

This course meets the requirements set forth in NFPA 1021.

Should you already have obtained NPQ Fire Officer III, produce that certificate to the Training Academy 

Fire Officer III Reference Material:

Chief Officer (4th edition) - IFSTA
ALL related CCFES manuals: SOPs, Employee, Civil Service Manual, etc

FO 301 - Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services Class Projects

This page list the class projects / assignments that must be completed by students in the Fire Officer III program. All projects must be turned into the Training Academy before credit for the program is given. This portion of the program accounts for 25% of the total course grade.
